Accommodation

Hotel accommodation can be reserved in Durban through the intermediary of Turners DMC who have secured preferred rates for participants. All rates quoted on the hotel booking form are in South African Rands and are per room and per night, breakfast, 15% VAT and 1% TOMSA Levy are included. The hotel category should be indicated on the hotel booking form. Please also indicate which other category we should book in case the chosen one is fully booked. Please note most of the hotels are within close proximity to the Durban International Convention Centre.

Booking

In order to reserve your accommodation at selected property or hotel, please submit the Online Booking Form. We request you indicate which alternate property/hotel or category we should book in case the chosen one is fully booked.

On submission of your online form you will automatically receive an email response confirming that your forms has been received.

Group Booking

Reservations

Group hotel accommodation can be reserved in Durban through the intermediary of Turners DMC. All participating hotels including their respective rates can be found on the official accommodation page of the Congress website. All rates quoted are in South African Rands and are per room and per night, breakfast, 15% VAT and 1% TOMSA Levy are included. The hotel name including room category should be indicated on the group booking form.

For all group bookings (10 rooms or more), 50% deposit to be paid on receipt of first invoice, the outstanding 50% deposit to be settled thirty (30) days prior to the start of the Conference.

Please note most of the hotels are within close proximity to the Durban International Convention Centre.

Booking Confirmation

All hotel reservations will be confirmed to you in writing with the name of the hotel, the type of accommodation booked, the arrival and departure dates, the rate, and the deposit required. This will be accompanied by an invoice and request for payment.

Payments

A 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation, payment due within seven (7) days after receipt of first invoice. Final 50% deposit is due thirty (30) prior to the start of the Conference. Payment may be processed either by electronic bank transfer or by Master, Visa, American Express or Diners Club credit card. Full details appear on the booking form.
All incidentals charged to room account need to be settled prior to departure from hotel.

When opting to process payment by credit card further instructions will be emailed advising how to process payment via a secure online 3D PayGate portal. A unique reference number will be issued to you.
For all electronic bank transfer payments, event bank account details will appear on the accommodation invoice. Please specify your unique reference number. Final date for bank transfers will be 15th June 2023.

When processing Forex payment, kindly advise your bank all charges associated with Forex payment are for your own account. Turners DMC will not be held liable for short payments received due to bank charges.

Transportation

Turners DMC can assist with booking a daily return shuttle from hotels to Durban Convention Centre. Please send email to Deveena Naicker: deveena.N@turnersdmc.co.za

Terms & Conditions

Cancellations must be submitted to Turners DMC in writing. You may cancel your reservation up to 20th April 2023 with a full refund of your deposit paid less an administration fee of ZAR115.00.

Reservations cancelled after 20th April 2023 will attract the following cancellation penalties:

60 - 31 Days - 50% Cancellation fees apply
30 - 0 Days - 100% Cancellation fees apply

An amendment fee of ZAR115.00 applies to all changes made to confirmed reservations after 13th June 2023.

Should you reduce the length of your stay upon arrival at the hotel, the hotel will charge cancellation fees for the nights that you will no longer be using.
