Tour Itinerary
The warmer water around Kwazulu Natal's Aliwal Shoal is home to numerous species of Sharks.The Shark Cage Diving experience is a way of connecting people with these amazing creatures. Due to uncontrolled, destructive fishing methods many species of sharks are being pushed towards extinction, so education is vitally important.
The excursion normally takes around 2 hours - 30 minutes of cage diving as well as viewing sharks from the boat. It also includes a talk on sharks and marine life conservation.
The dive itself involves getting into a wetsuit, donning a mask and climbing into a floating stainless-steel cage, so you can watch the sharks gliding gracefully by.
