Reservations

Hotel accommodation can be reserved in Cape Town through the intermediary of Turners Conferences who have secured preferred rates for participants. All hotel accommodation rates quoted on the hotel booking form are in South African Rands and are per room and per night, breakfast and service taxes included. Rates quoted for luxury apartments are per apartment per night, NO meals included. The hotel/apartment category should be indicated on the hotel booking form. Please also indicate which other category we should book in case the chosen one is fully booked. Please note most of the hotels are within proximity to the Cape International Convention Centre.

Confirmation of Hotel Reservation

All hotel reservations will be confirmed to you in writing with the name of the hotel, the type of accommodation booked, the arrival and departure dates, the rate, and the deposit required. This will be accompanied by an invoice and request for payment.

Payments

Full payment is required to secure the hotel booking. A 50% deposit is required when processing your request, remaining 50% deposit required thirty (30) days prior to arrival. The deposits may be paid either by bank transfer or by MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Diners Club credit card. Full details appear on the booking form.

For all group bookings (10 rooms or more), 50% deposit to be paid within 14 days of first invoice, the outstanding 50% deposit to be settled thirty days prior to the start of the Congress.

Changes and Cancellations

Cancellations must be submitted to Turners Conferences in writing. You may cancel your reservation up to 23rd May 2021 with a full refund of your deposit paid less an administration fee of ZAR230.

Reservations cancelled after the 23rd May 2021 will attract the following cancellation penalties:

1. 59 - 31 Days - 50% Cancellation fees apply
2. 30 - 0 Days - 100% Cancellation fees apply

An amendment fee of ZAR230.00 applies to all changes made to confirmed reservations after the 01st July 2021.

Should you reduce the length of your stay upon arrival at the hotel, the hotel will charge cancellation fees for the nights that you will no longer be using.

Hotel rates are inclusive of VAT at 15%, TOMSA Levy of 1% and a Full English Breakfast.
