SAAFoST's 23rd Biennial International Congress and Exhibition will be taking place at the Birchwood Hotel and Conference Centre in Johannesburg from the 1 - 4 September 2019. The theme for this year's congress is Food Science & Technology for the 21st Century and will cover aspects such as Food Safety and Defense, Food Health and Nutrition, Product Development and Marketing Challenges and many more relevant and related topics.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS |
The Scientific Programme Committee is pleased to invite delegates to submit abstracts for papers and posters for the SAAFoST 23rd Biennial International Congress and Exhibition. The Congress theme, "Food Science & Technology for the 21st Century" highlights global challenges affecting food production and supply, food consumption and food security and seeks approaches to solving these.

The early registration fee is valid until the end of June and we encourage you to take advantage of the reduced fee.

EXHIBITION AND SPONSORSHIP |
A trade exhibition and poster display will be held in OR Tambo 1 at the Birchwood Hotel and Conference Centre. To maximize exposure to our exhibitors all tea breaks and lunches will be served at various points in the exhibition hall. The welcome reception will also take place in the exhibition hall on Sunday, 1 September. Exhibitors will also be able to invite their customers that are not attending the congress to view the exhibition at no additional cost on Monday, 2 September and Tuesday, 3 September after the afternoon tea break. Stands are selling fast!
